In an effort to better prepare ourselves for the upcoming season (first pitch is 8 days away!) and to improve the refereeing experience for all those who give their time, the league will be holding three hour-long referee clinics this week.  We'd like to encourage all of you that have refereed in the past and plan to help out this year to attend one of the following clinics:

 

Sunday, May 25th, 5pm, Edgewood

Monday, May 26th, 6 pm, South Park

Thursday, May 29th, 6 pm, South Park

 

These casual clinics will review some of the basics and some of the finer points of refereeing a kickball game.  Because captains and assistant captains have the privilege of discussing calls, they are strongly encouraged to attend.  They should also encourage 2-3 other team members to show up as well.  Perhaps we can come up with some sort of prize for the team that sends the most representatives?  Please come out, learn something, have some fun.  In the end this will not only benefit you and your team, but the entire league.  See you there!
