All games scheduled for week 2 (June 8th) will be replayed on Sunday, August 10, at the times they were originally scheduled. This Sunday, June 15th, we will play the week 3 games as scheduled. I'd like to personally apologize for last Sunday's weather and am doing all I can to prevent such an event in the future. However, if severe weather impedes us again this summer, it is quite possible that those games will NOT be able to be rescheduled. Sunday's weather did demonstrate an important point about starting games on time. Although the severe weather did not blow in until 6:10pm, not a single game had completed 5 innings at that time, thus none were "official" games. In the future, especially if severe weather is in the forecast, it will be very important to get as much kickball in before the storm, so that perhaps only half of the week's games would need to be rescheduled (as opposed to canceled). I advise everyone to do whatever they deem necessary (pray, dance, sacrifice, bribe) to prevent thunderstorms on Sunday evenings this summer, so that the gods do not cheat us out of our pagan fun.
