llo fellow kickball enthusiasts,   The 2010 edition of Kaw Valley Kickball is just around the corner.  I am pleased to announce three new additions to our fine league: Todd Tractor, Asteroid Head, and The Felt Show.   This is surely shaping up to be a great year.  The mandatory annual pre-season captains meeting is set to occur on May 18th in the Big 6 room (basement) of the Eldridge Hotel at 6:00 PM.  Captains and Assistant captains, please make every effort to make the meeting.  We will be discussing league changes and updates.   Our first week of play is slated for May 23rd.  We will be not be playing the following week (Memorial Day weekend) and, weather permitting, should be able to finish up pool play by the July 4th Weekend.   I would like to take a moment to make a big shout out to the Kaw Valley Kickball folk who helped out with HealthCare Access Event.  We had a good group of people volunteering and making us look like an outstanding bunch of individuals.      Nick Lerner '10 KVKL Commissioner
