Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) is partnering with the Kaw Valley Kickball League to increase awareness and encourage league participants to consider becoming a Big Brother or Big Sister. Think back in your life½ Remember the person who, though not a parent, took the time to listen or encourage you to do your best? Having support and motivation from someone you looked up to didn't just make you feel special, it made you the person you are today. Now you can be the one to make a difference. "Bigs" are volunteers matched in a one-to-one friendship with a "Little." Littles are kids age 5-17 with a need for some extra attention. Spend time each week with your Little, your activities are your choice. We have around 100 kids on our waiting list, you could be a perfect match for someone special! If you are interested in applying or would like to hear more about the program we have open orientation times every week, Tuesdays at 5:15 pm and Wednesdays at Noon. No appointment is necessary.
