Hi Kickballers,
Just a few things to keep in mind during the tournament:
Clean-up:  We do not have teams assigned for clean-up, so help clean the fields you are at. Please take the time to clean your dugouts before exiting. We are playing on a lot of youth fields, and we want to be allowed to continue to do so.
Neighborhoods: Â Be mindful that we are in neighborhood areas very late on a Sunday night. Â Respect their property, and be careful of noise level.
Reffing:  There will be some tricky moves for refs. For example: some teams will have to finish playing their 6:30pm game at Holcom then drive out to YSC to ref an 8pm game. It will be difficult for those traveling refs to get there right on time, so if you are not moving fields be prepared to have 3-4 of your team members start officiating the game until the other refs can get there to take over. This is no excuse for the traveling refs to take their time, but we do not want to delay games simply because of refs.  Also, some refs might have to finish reffing your game and travel to another location in town for their game, so don't hold up games for unimportant reasons.
Also, remember that only captains may address refs. Our refs are volunteers and don't deserve harassment from captains or other team members. Please make sure both you and your teammates keep a cool head when calls are being discussed or when talking about them after a decision has been made.  Once a call is finalized, it's over.  It does no good to continue to harp on it.  Don't be afraid to pull out the rulebook if there are questions.Â
